Food for Thought

Sharpen your mindset

‘Success is not final; failure is not fatal: It is the courage to continue that counts.’

Winston Churchill

Mindset: Success is not a destination, but a journey. Failure is not the end, but a lesson. The most important thing is to have the courage to continue, no matter what obstacles you encounter. Courage is the fuel that keeps you moving forward, even when you feel like giving up.

Example: One company that showcased the quote is Starbucks. The founder of Starbucks, Howard Schultz, faced many rejections and difficulties in his early days, such as being turned down by 242 investors, losing his mentor, and facing lawsuits from his former employer. He also had to deal with the challenges of expanding globally, adapting to different cultures, and surviving the financial crisis. But he did not give up on his vision. He kept pursuing his passion, improving his product and service, and creating a unique customer experience. He eventually became one of the most successful and influential leaders in the coffee industry.

Action item: One tiny concrete action you can take today to apply the quote is to write down one challenge or failure you are facing right now. Then, write down three possible ways to overcome it or learn from it. Choose one of them and commit to doing it today. Remember, courage is not the absence of fear, but the decision to act despite it.

What If?

The business idea you should steal

🚀💡 SmartCodeRev

(Deepmind’s AI + learning primitives)

What? AI-Enhanced Code Review Platform for Developers.

How? Build a platform that integrates advanced code review best practices with the help of LLMs like ChatGPT. The AI system can analyze code changes, provide real-time feedback, and suggest improvements to enhance code quality and developer productivity.

Why? Code reviews are critical for maintaining code quality, but they can be time-consuming and subjective. By utilizing AI-powered code reviews, developers can receive more comprehensive and objective feedback, leading to improved code quality and faster development cycles. The market for AI-assisted code review tools is expected to grow at a CAGR of 33.7% from 2021 to 2028.
